01 March 2024 - Currently we are doing monthly Rafflebox 50/50 raffles. The draws will occur on the 22nd of each month. https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/paacs
We are also in the process of applying for various grants.
We are pleased to announce that Devan Thomas, seen here on the right, picked up her $5,000.00 cash prize for our recent Rafflebox vacation prize raffle. PAACS Director Cathy Smith presented.Thank you to all who contributed to this fundraising initiative. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
We also do a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. Including, but not limited to, yard sales with donated items, an annual Christmas Basket raffle, 50/50 draws, auctions, direct canvassing for support etc. We will provide advance notice via using one or more of, social media, local radio, mail outs, newspaper, etc.
We will also be applying for grants from various levels of government and approaching other registered charities for their support.
From time to time we will have some of our items and/or donated items for sale. These will appear on our "Sales" page. All proceeds go directly into our account. We do not ship but can deliver within the Parrsboro area or arrange a time for pickup.
FYI we can issue "Canadian Tax Receipts" for certain donated items at Fair Market Value. These can include items such as land, larger items, vehicles, etc. Please talk to a board member to discuss the merits and eligibility.
